COMMISSION SYMPOSIUM -  AMPLIAÇÃO DO
PRAZO PARA ENVIO DE RESUMOS

 A Comissão organizadora do XXXI Simpósio da Comissão de
Instrumentos Científicos informa que o prazo para envio de resumos para
apresentação de trabalhos no evento foi ampliado para 01 de julho de 2012. Essa
medida foi tomada em função de vários pedidos formalizados à Comissão por
diversos profissionais que necessitavam de mais tempo para elaboração.

Workshop: Instrument histories: collections and knowledge in movement 5-8 December 2011 Over the past year, brought together by a common commitment to the material aspects of science, we have formed a research group – made up by scholars and graduate students from the UNAM, the UAM and CINVESTAV-IPN – that studies instruments from a socio-historical perspective. One of our principal objectives is to question the assumption that scientific instruments are objective, neutral, ubiquitous and innocuous.

Am Freitag, dem 10. Dezember 2010, findet in Stuttgart das Festkolloquium "200 Jahre Maschine von Bohnenberger" statt, das dem Tuebinger Astronomen J.G.F. Bohnenberger (1765-1831) gewidmet ist. Ausserdem wird an diesem Tag eine Ausstellung zum Thema eroeffnet, die bis zum 29. Januar 2011 dauert.
