Research internships in the history of science and technology

 

National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory, Greenwich, will be offering three or four student research internships in the history of science and technology for 2009.

The successful candidates will be expected to carry out a piece of research based on the Museum's collections relating to astronomy, cartography, scientific exploration, navigation and time, to be presented in a final report. The internships are usually for 4-8 weeks, depending on the project, and an allowance is paid at the rate of £1000 per month.
